Here's our 2012 line-up.....
More details will be added as available.....

The Hazelman Brothers
The Hazelman Brothers’ rare songwriting craft harks back to the storytelling troubadours of old, with evocative lyrics sung in unashamedly Australian voices - but their decidedly modern feel is shaped by influences as diverse as Crosby Stills and Nash, Josh Pyke, and Little River Band. They are a mainstay of the Melbourne music scene, both for their gloriously resonant live shows, and the community they’ve created through their Sibling series - with acts like The Alanna & Alicia Egan Band, and Mick (Young Werther) & Dylan Young. With international supports for American guitar whiz Kaki King and French pop star Tété under their belts, they launched their eagerly anticipated debut record ‘Eyesight Like An Owl’ in 2010. “A lovely, fragile tune from Chris, Mick and Stu Hazelman, three brothers who all play guitar and sing a mean harmony. Sweet notes drop like water through I Put You in a Song, which combines a Medieval folk aesthetic with a kind of melancholic, minimalist chain gang blues.” [Beat Magazine Single of the Week, April 2011]

Ray Pereira Trio

Ray Pereira and Leo Dale are well known to Seddon audiences through their work with many bands.  Here they are joined by David Marama on guitar with their sole aim being to get on the good groove.  As Ray says - "In this group I like to express the touchy feely side of my personality, something that Leo and David are able to unlock".

We ae pleased to have them open SedFest 2012!

Susan Lily
Susan Lily grew up in Hay, outback New South Wales.  After working in Sydney for a number of years she moved to Melbourne to pursue a career in stand-up comedy.  After treading the boards for 4 years Susan found her singing voice the most commented aspect of her performances. Undertaking vocalist training with Nikki Nicholls (a prominent singer and backing vocalist for the likes of John Farnham) lead Susan to meet her now producer Paul Norton.  Over the past 6 years they have collaborated on firstly a double A single.  “Got The Monkey Off My Back” and “Not Today” were well received on the community radio circuit nationwide.  This lead to an invitation to perform at the St Arnaud Country Club and then in October 2007 her first major country music festival.  The experience gained from performing at Mildura Country Music Festival lead her to begin work on her debut album. After 4 years of ups and downs the album “Butterfly” has been released both in hard and digital formats (itunes and CDbaby).  With the co-operation of her producer Paul Norton and the mastering talents of Michael Cristiano these 14 tracks have been brought to life.   With credits like Gerry Hale (Uncle Bill), Gary Young, Angus Birchall and Wendy Stapleton Susan proudly exhibits some of her most personal and heartfelt moments to date.Susan is currently a finalist in the Meet n Greet Country Music Awards (most popular new independent talent) 2012 and finalist for Victorian Country Music Awards – Victorian Female Vocalist of the Year 2012.
